The Compressed Gas StraightGate50 takes Turbosmart's award winning Electronic StraightGate and simplifies the control system with a diaphragm style actuator built specifically for use with Compressed Gas / CO2 boost controllers. Designed to specifically to work with the high pressure levels that come along with CO2 and compressed gas boost control Turbosmart's Compressed Gas specific StraightGates feature a custom Nomex diaphragm design especially for "fill and spill" style boost control systems. Turbosmart’s StraightGate wastegate design comprises a zero-offset inline butterfly-style valve that allows enormous flow and almost linear control across the operating range. This leads to unparalleled boost control for your high performance applications. Compressed Gas variants of the StraightGate are designed specifically for wastegate control strategies that use an external pressure source such as CO2 or compressed air to vary the wastegate opening position.
